I am a recent graduate from Zetech University where I attained a Diploma in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management.
I was attached in Kakamega County Government in the procurement department where among the tasks I did include; processing of LPOs/ LSOs to facilitate purchase of goods and services, filing and maintenance of procurement records, participation in bid opening, evaluation and recommendation for award, carrying out market survey, compilation of all requisition and preparation of a consolidated procurement plan, analyzing of purchase requisition from user department and determining the appropriate method of procurement, quotation, tender and request for proposals conducting an in depth analysis on all bids received in response to each tender, proposal and quotation to identify the quotation that best meets the need of the user department, carrying out procurement processes through the Intergrated Financial Management Information System.
