Excellent experience in project development from initial stages, construction, and operations. Involved in PPA negotiations for various projects, feasibility study of several solar, wind and small hydro/power projects. Involved with numerous Solar PV C & I solutions.

I am a Kenyan aged 37, Engineering Professional and an expert in renewable energy. I am currently contracted by Bazaro Hydropower to streamline its renewable energy development in Sub-Saharan Africa. My immediate former role at Windlab Pty Limited involved project development of Wind Energy Facilities and/or Wind solar PV and battery storage hybrid in Kenya and Sub-Saharan Africa. This involves the development and permitting of projects, financing, PPA negotiations and bidding. I manage projects across the full spectrum of the development life cycle: greenfield site identification through to bid-ready projects, including funding under all phases. I had previously worked with Bazaro Hydropower Limited as a project developer, assisting in hydropower development. I have worked with renewable energy consultancy firm - Engineering Resource Consultants Ltd as a Projects Manager majoring on energy project management, feasibility studies, conceptual designs & installation of grid and off grid projects, client’s/contractors’ management and other engineering works. As a renewable energy enthusiast, I’m keen to see institutions and companies employing smart, green, and sustainable energy solutions.
