Duties and responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls for medical assistance i.e. Road Traffic Accident, Resuscitation (CPR)
• Assess the patient’ s condition and determine the course of treatment. - Assist in transfer patients to the Emergency Department and report observations and treatment to the receiving nurse at the receiving facility.
• Replace used supplies and Check or clean equipment after use.
• Participate in events such as marathons, and provide First Aid or medical assistance to clients.
