September- December 2018. I did my attachment at ISUZU TMD KENYA (KARATINA)
where I exposed in many field. I performed a lot of duties like oil service, brake system, brakes adjustments, leaf springs replacement, replacing worn-out bushes, kingpins replacement,clutch replacement, and many more.
January- December 2020. Worked in WESTERN GARAGE KARATINA specializing on light vehicles such as Matatu, Saloon cars etc. Duties performed include; gearbox replacement,
engine overhaul, engine timing, CV joints replacement, worn-out bushes replacement, gearbox dismantling and reassembling, fuel system,brakes system eg, master cylinder and booster replacement, brake lining/shoe replacement,suspension system including shocks etc.
January- June 2021. Worked at HASSAN AUTO GARAGE MOMBASA specializing on heavy trucks such as FAW,ISUZU, BENZ,FUSO,BEINBEN, EICHER, etc. Duties performed includes; engine overhaul for the trucks, oil service, gearbox dismantling and reassembling,
changing worn-out bushes, kingpins replacement, wheel bearings, gearbox bearings, control arms replacement, welding where needed, servicing hydraulic jacks for the trucks etc,
July2021- February2022. Worked as workshop technician at AUTO EXPRESS KENYA
Duties performed includes; Following job descriptions from the job card, good relationship with the workmates, oil service, brake replacement, proper use of tools provided by the company eg suspension spring compressor, Tyre changer/bead breaker machine, bead booster, oil suction machine, double scissor lift machines, alignment machine, pneumatic gun etc. Maintained high level of cleanness in the workshop area and also the working machines and tools. Also used diagonistic machine to read trouble codes, reset service, reset brakes for the eerman cars etc
Adhered to the workshop rules and safety. Carried out 360 point inspection after every fitment done.
Am a professional mechanic in heavy vehicles eg faw, mitsubishi, isuzu actros, etc
Studied at nys tc mombasa certificate in Automotive Engineering
