I am an accountant by profession, a cpak and holder of a degree in Bcom with over 9 years of experience

I am writing to express my interest in the program finance officer position with Christian Blind Mission I bring over eight years of progressive experience managing complex, multi-donor humanitarian and development grants for international NGOs, with strong expertise in grants lifecycle management, donor compliance, proposal development support, partner capacity strengthening, and audit coordination. I am highly motivated to contribute my skills to programmes operating in fragile and conflict-affected contexts such as South Sudan.

Throughout my career, I have managed and supported grants funded by USAID, the European Union, UNICEF, WFP, IOM, SIDA, CDC-PEPFAR, Trocaire, Diakonia, and Misereor, ensuring full compliance with donor regulations and internal controls. In my current role with CISP, I lead end-to-end grants management for a multi-donor portfolio, including grant start-up, budget development, donor financial reporting, grant amendments, audits, and close-out. I work closely with programme, MEAL, procurement, and partner teams to ensure timely and accurate donor submissions and effective use of project resources.

Previously with World Vision International, I supported high-value grants exceeding USD 3 million, contributing to successful grant renewals through timely reporting, strong compliance oversight, and effective sub-grantee monitoring. I have consistently coordinated donor and external audits resulting in clean audit opinions and zero disallowed costs, while also strengthening partner systems through targeted capacity-building and risk mitigation measures.

I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPAK) with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and ongoing MSc studies, bringing a strong financial foundation to grants strategy and portfolio oversight. Beyond technical expertise, I offer proven leadership, coordination, and communication skills, with experience supervising grants and finance staff and supporting field operations in resource-constrained environments. I am adaptable, culturally sensitive, and willing to deploy to field-based and high-risk duty stations, including South Sudan.
