My research interests centre on data analysis and data visualization, two fields that I have been actively studying for the past few years. My goal is to use my skills in data analysis and data visualization to unlock the potential of data and to help organizations make better decisions.

I am particularly interested in leveraging data visualization techniques to extract insights from large datasets and to uncover patterns and relationships that may otherwise remain hidden. By leveraging the power of data visualization, I believe that I can help organizations better understand their data, identify opportunities for improvement and measure the impact of their strategies.

I am also interested in applying data analysis techniques to uncover insights from large datasets. Using techniques such as feature engineering, machine learning, and statistical modelling, I believe that I can help organizations gain a better understanding of their data and uncover trends and patterns that may not be easily visible.

In addition, I am interested in understanding how data science can be used to improve the decision-making process. By utilizing data-driven methods, I believe that I can help organizations make better decisions. This can include understanding the impact of certain decisions and identifying opportunities for improvement.

My long-term goal is to develop my skills in data analysis and data visualization and to use these skills to help organizations unlock the potential of data and make better decisions. I am confident that my experience and knowledge in these two fields will help me achieve this goal.

I have worked as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, Research Assistant, Enumerator, and Volunteer for various organizations such as Jupiter System Consultant in partnership with the European Union- Market Access Upgrade Programme (MarkUP), The Nanjili Dairy Limited, Pastoralist Capacity Development Programme (PACDEP), Maseno University Laboratory for Interdisciplinary Statistical Analysis (MU-LISA), Centre for Strategic Development (CSD), Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS), Cooperative Alliance of Kenya (CAK), Value Chain Consultancy Company, and UNBOUND Foundation {CFCA}. My responsibilities included collecting qualitative and quantitative data, developing and monitoring data quality control processes, creating and maintaining various dashboards, reports, and visualizations, developing and maintaining predictive models, developing and implementing data mining techniques, performing complex data analysis and identifying patterns and trends, coordinating day-of-event logistics, conducting awareness campaigns, organizing events, and mobilizing non-members of Saccos and Cooperatives.

January 2023 – Current Part time Student at University of Nairobi Pursuing a Postgraduate Certificate In Data Science and Business Analytics.

August – September 2022 Data Analysis and Data Visualization using Power BI at Predictive Analytics, Nairobi.

May-June 2022 Business Intelligence and Data analysis using Power BI at the Davidson College (EDX).

Sept 2018- July 2022 Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science with IT at Maseno University.
