- Coordinated the construction of over 60 weirs in Machakos County
- Ensured that materials were delivered on site in a timely fashion to speed up the construction

- Worked as the project manager in their various projects that were in progress including the early ground works at Vipingo Ridge project
- Involved in the construction of private residences the key one being a beach front property at Manarani in Kilifi County
- Was responsible for the setting out of the foundations for the project
- Created the work schedules with the use of Gantt charts. This involved regularly reviewing the timings in light of changing budget constraints and various issues which affect the progress of a project
- Ensured that materials were delivered in a timely manner and well documented to avoid losses to the projects
- Was responsible for conducting site visits to ensure that high quality work was being delivered by the masons and their teams within the allocated time scales
Project Coordinator at Kilimanjaro Contractors (2012-01 – 2012-12)
I was involved in the construction of the first two levels of an apartment building in Athiriver.
- Took part in the setting out of the apartment foundations and the Construction of the Septic tank
- Was tasked with coordinating the construction team which comprised of six masons and a large number of hands
- Ensured that the Project was delivered on time according to the set times
- Prepared the bill of quantities for the project
Intern at H.K Contractors (2011-01 – 2011-12)
In my attachment we worked at the Gong Kenya Power Substation where our company was tasked with carrying out the Civil Works.
- Worked at the site as part of the coordinating team ensuring that materials were delivered and logged accordingly as well as stored properly to avoid any damage
- Was involved in setting out the foot foundations for the slabs on which heavy electrical equipment are set
