WORKING EXPERIENCE:

JUNE 2021-TO DATE: PRODUCT CONTROL MANAGER (FOREX AND INVESTMENTS)-FINANCE- NCBA

• Conduct daily treasury P&L reconciliations and report on the financial performance.
• Conduct daily P&L and positions validation for the brokerage and wealth management business.
• Provide insightful daily P&L commentaries.
• Daily management reporting of the contribution of each financial market’s product, valuation events, posting events and transaction to P&L.
• Independently validate and track revaluation and/or mark-to-market trends in the trading exposures.
• Track, escalate and advise the risk department on Financial control issues.
• Independently validate the valuation of wealth management exposures.
• Conduct and track Risk and control Self-Assessment (RCSA) activities within the Finance department. 
• Validate/reconcile NCBA Capital daily P&L positions (commissions/fee/interest incomes and expenses for brokerage and wealth management).

• Management of schemes portfolio.
• Management of delinquent corporate accounts and loans.
• Conducting credit risk analysis of assigned portfolio
• Planning and conducting schemes visits/customer calls.
• Negotiating with clients and coming up with suitable exit strategies for delinquent accounts within assigned portfolio.
• Coordinating with external service providers e.g. Lawyers, Valuers, Auctioneers, External Debt Collectors, CRBs, Insurance Companies, Schemes, Warehouses, Tracking Companies etc

• Providing high quality of daily, weekly, and quarterly market research to major clients of the bank.
• Contribute to the daily market commentary and market update.
• Selling and marketing Treasury products i.e FX spots, Swaps, Options, Forwards and Bonds
• Placing with central bank bids for treasury bills
• Prepare and provide investment reports, cash flows and schedules as required by the management.

• Management, collection and recovery of outstanding amounts under check off portfolio.
• Conducting credit risk analysis of assigned portfolio
• Negotiating with clients and coming up with suitable exit strategies for delinquent accounts within assigned portfolio.
• Coordinating with external service providers e.g. Lawyers, Valuers, Auctioneers, External Debt Collectors, CRBs, Insurance Companies, Schemes, Warehouses, Tracking Companies etc

• Process RTGS and TT payments
• Process bulk flexi pay and salary cheques to Vendors and non-bank institutions.
• Correspond with local banks regarding application or re call of funds
