Brandon Ruoro

I am a product designer with over 5 years of experience working in startups. I have experience in brand design, graphic design, and UI design from working with various projects throughout my journey. I am proficient in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and in using collaboration tools such as Basecamp, Trello, Clickup, and Slack. My goal is to collaboratively and creatively use design to simplify complex problems and bring forth innovative solutions that are sustainable and people will enjoy.

I have over 5 years' experience supporting startups from scratch with all their digital assets needs, from building brand identities, graphic design, web design, no-code web development, app interface design and prototyping, and user testing. I am specialized in product design, where I bring together all the learning from the different design fields I have worked in to build visually pleasing, and functional digital products which simplify customer's interactions with the app, providing a smooth and pleasing user experience. I am currently mastering agile project management as well as using AI as I step into product ownership on my career journey.

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science (2nd Class Hons. Upper Division), awarded from Kenyatta University in 2019.
