My name is Rono Brian, and I am an Electrical and Telecommunication engineering specialist. I have over 2 years of experience in AutoCAD and I am also an AutoCAD trainer. Drawing and designing using AutoCAD is one of my greatest passions, and I have spent countless hours mastering this craft. I take pride in teaching others how to use AutoCAD, passing on my knowledge to those who share my passion. As an electrical and telecommunications engineering specialist, I have extensive knowledge in this field, and I enjoy using my expertise to create innovative solutions to complex problems. In 2021, I completed Autocad training at the Bell Institute of Technology, which has been instrumental in my professional development. Since completing the program, I have been able to use my skills to train up to 40 students in Autocad. Additionally, in 2021, I completed an attachment at Specialised Power Systems, where I gained valuable experience in electrical and electronics. While there, I learned about VFD, power factor correction systems, distribution boards, manual and automatic changeovers, and electrical switchgear systems. This experience allowed me to gain hands-on experience in engineering, leadership, and problem-solving skills, which have been instrumental in my professional development. In 2022, I completed an attachment at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), where I gained valuable experience in telecommunications. During my time there, I learned about a wide range of technologies, including VHF radio transceivers, PABX systems, radio telemetry systems, television networks, and proximity sensors. This experience provided me with a solid foundation in the field of telecommunications and allowed me to develop key skills in engineering, leadership, and problem-solving. Overall, these experiences have helped me to become a well-rounded and knowledgeable professional in my field, with a strong focus on engineering, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
I am a final-year Electrical and Telecommunication Engineering student at Moi University and will be graduating in December. I began my academic journey in 2017, and since then, I have gained a vast knowledge of 4G and 5G networks, as well as the telecommunications field in general. During my time at university, I was an active member of the Technology Students Association (TSA), where I honed my leadership skills and gained valuable experience working in a team. I am excited to bring these skills to the workforce and to make a positive impact in my field. Overall, my education has been a valuable experience, providing me with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in my chosen career path.
