● Conducted tree enumeration exercise on all planted trees and collected their respective data digitally that was used to calculate the carbon offsets of the trees which improved my knowledge on carbon footprints.
● Mapping of trees through manual collection of their Geographical
Positioning Systems and digitizing to provide shape files which enhance my Geographical Information System and forest mapping skills.
● Investigating and conducting health and safety audits and risk assessment within the company to ascertain safety policies in place to ensure a safe and conducive environment for workers which enhanced my knowledge of health safety measures within a working environment.
● Conducted digital trees species identification and categorizing health and risk factors that might lead to either increase or decrease of the resultant population which equipped me with knowledge of understanding factors that favors tree growing despite climate change.
● Analyzing the energy consumption rate and identifying alternative energy sources to reduce high consumption of non-renewable energy sources which equip me with knowledge of energy conservation and management.
● Identifying waste produced and determining safe and sustainable disposal methods to ensure disposal of up to 99.9% of the total wastes produced without polluting the environment which enhanced my waste management and control knowledge.
