I’m currently an intern in Jamii telecommunications as an NOC Support Intern.

• Troubleshoot and provide first level customer technical support and feedback on network issues as per laid down procedures
• Identify network status during faulting process, report and escalate for immediate attention
• Management of CRM tickets until closure, including liaising with the customers
• Network monitoring, provide real-time network health surveillance and alarm reporting
• Utilizing network monitoring and surveillance software

KENYA POWER AND LIGHTNING COMPANY-NAKURU

I successfully completed my attachment in Kenya Power that lasted from September 6th 2021 to November 31st 2021 During this period, I did: -

• Installing of network hardware and software "
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty hardware and software
• Maintain network security
• Monitored network performance and suggested improvements to decision-making
• Fiber stringing, splicing and testing using splicing machine, power meter, VFL and OTDR
• Remote network monitoring through ping
• Establishment of working CISCO VOIP architecture
• Configurations of CISCO routers and switches to monitor and control the flow of traffic
• Adding new computers to the domain network.
