As a security engineer, my role is to protect systems, networks, and data by building strong defenses, detecting threats, and responding quickly to incidents. I harden Linux environments, automate security tasks with Python and Bash, and design secure architectures that follow principles like least privilege and Zero Trust. I also monitor logs, create detection rules, manage vulnerabilities, and ensure cloud workloads—especially on Azure—are securely configured.

A big part of my work is preventing attacks before they happen, analyzing suspicious activity when it does, and documenting everything so systems stay resilient. Ultimately, my job is to make sure the environments I manage remain secure, stable, and ready to withstand evolving threats
