Caroline Toroitich

I am an energy access professional with 15+ years of management experience in the development sector, 13 of which have been in the off-grid energy access supporting renewable energy (RE) projects and energy companies in Electrification, Productive Use Energy (PUE), and Clean Cooking.

I have led the design of programs and managed $100+ million energy access program funds (Upfront grants, Results-based grants and Debt) across SSA targeting private sector actors in Clean Cooking, Solar Home Systems (SHS), PUE, Mini-Grids (MGs), and Climate Adaptation Technologies. I have supported 95+ energy companies spread in the countries of Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Kenya, Liberia, Mali, Mozambique, Rwanda, Senegal, Somalia, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe providing capital, business development services, and capital-raising support while supporting policy and regulatory dialogues
