Group Mobilization, Formation & Member Management
▪ Selects, identifies, and recruits potential groups and members in accordance with established operations policy, creating general awareness of program activities through promotion and community outreach
▪ Mobilizes, forms, and attends group meetings, ensuring groups are cohesive and sustainable in line with program requirements; facilitates group selection and ongoing general member management
▪ Ensures collection of complete member personal information and fully filled registration forms
(bio-data tool); maintains an accurate and up-to-date client database at all times
Loan Appraisal, Disbursement, Recovery & Post-Loan Services
▪ Appraises groups and members on level of access to credit, conducting detailed creditworthiness and business viability assessments before remitting applications to the relevant approval persons or bodies
▪ Processes and disburses loans ensuring complete and compliant documentation; carries out continuous follow-up for timely loan repayment and recovery, working with clients in difficulty to prevent defaults
▪ Provides clients with post-loan extension services and ongoing advisory coaching, supporting productive use of funds and helping borrowers grow towards commercially viable and self-
sustaining enterprises
Training, Outreach, Reporting & Compliance
▪ Trains groups on the program model, operational guidelines, and financial management principles, delivering financial literacy sessions covering budgeting, savings mobilization, and enterprise planning
▪ Collaborates with government agencies and local NGOs for the benefit of clients and the program; represents the organization in local development committees and relevant community and stakeholder forums
▪ Participates in monitoring and evaluation activities including field data collection,
documentation of case studies and lessons, and adoption of best practices to improve program quality
▪ Prepares and submits accurate daily, monthly, semi-annual, and annual program performance reports in a timely manner; maintains a proper and effective filing system for all client records,
loan documents, and program data
