Duties and Responsibilities:
- Training of Water Resources Authority’s (WRA) staff on Enforcement and Compliance, Permitting and Regulation of water resources, Water Resources Management and Community Science.

Key Achievements;
- We successfully trained Water Resources Authority’s (WRA) staff on Enforcement and Compliance, Permitting and Regulation, Water Resources Management and Community Science.
- We successfully developed Sub-Catchment Management Plans (SCMPs) for the four (4) Water Resource Users Associations (WRUAs) within the Athi Basin Area.
- We successfully capacity built four (4) WRUAs within the Athi Basin Area on proper water and environmental management.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Writing Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports to different clients
- Writing Environmental Audit (EA) reports to different clients
Key Achievements;
- Successfully wrote more than 67 Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports and 45 Environmental Audit (EA) reports to different clients undertaking projects that are likely to have negative impact on the environment.
Community Development, Data management and GIS Intern:
Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zummenarbeit (GIZ-Water Sector Reform
Program)- WRA Siaya Sub-Regional office; January-June 2015;
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participated in the development of Sub-Catchment Management Plans (SCMPs) for different Water Resource Users Associations (WRUAs)within Lake Victoria North Basin Area
- Participated in the capacity building of different WRUAs within Lake Victoria North Basin Area
- Provided support in geospatial data processing, analysis and presentation as well as data management and training of local communities on water resource management and catchment area conservation in order to improve water quality and quantity
- Digitalized hardcopy data and updated Hydro-meteorological, permit and WRUA databases
- Data entry and archiving of files in the registry
- Data quality check and data validation according to the protocol
Key Achievements;
- Effectively managed Water Resources Authority’s (WRA) data leading to 90% data access efficiency
- Successfully worked with Water Resource Users Association (WRUA) within Lake Victoria North Basin leading to increase in access to water and sanitation in Siaya and Kakamega counties
- Successfully reviewed more than 20 Environmental Impact Assessment reports submitted to WRA by different clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Commented on Environmental Impact Assessment reports involving projects which were likely to interfere with quality/quantity of surface and ground water
- Participated in WRUA capacity building and SCMP development in Lake Victoria South Catchment Area
- Actively participated in flood management and environmental conservation along river Nyando in Kisumu county
- Participated in a ten(10) day Pollution survey of Lake Victoria(Kenya side) jointly conducted by WRA,LVEMP and Kenya Fisheries Research Institute
OTHER PAST SIGNIFICANT WORK EXPERIENCES
- Volunteer: Nyakwamba Water Resource Users Association (WRUA) May -December 2014. During this period, I capacity built the communities around Ndhiwa constituency, Homa bay county on water catchment and riparian land conservation and protection. I also sensitized them on rainwater harvesting.
- Teller: Kenya Post Officer Savings Bank (POSTBANK) August 2015 to 2016. During this period, I basically dealt with the functions of receiving and paying out cash to our customers coupled with ATM reconciliation and cheque receiving and cheque truncation.
- Part time sales executive: Shenzhen Right Net Tech Limited 2017: Supply of electronics, electricals, home appliances and 3C products.
