Through the experience I’ve gathered working with a laundry & domestic cleaning company, I have developed a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. I am committed to providing the highest level of cleanliness and customer service, and I take pride in my ability to work independently and as part of a team. My vision is to become an excellent service provider in the home service industry and eventually lead a team of service-oriented professionals.

Laundry Operations at Wasafi Laundry and Cleaning Services (2022-01 – Present)

• Managed the daily services of laundry for 1,000+ customers through washing, drying, ironing & delivery of their laundry
• Built an efficient system of reducing electrical utilities by reducing the amount of time laundry would stay in the dryer, opting for outdoor drying where possible, saving the company on its monthly expenditure
• Negotiated with 6+ new home owners to not only launder their curtains but offer full service house cleaning, alongside a team of other cleaners

Business Development at Pearly Enterprises Limited (2015-02 – 2021-12)

• Bidded and won the contract as the chosen company to design & execute the interior & exterior concept for 2 resorts & 1 hotel working with a team of 4 artisans, delivering the project outcomes earlier than the set timelines
• Created, developed & executed interior & exterior concepts for 20+ homes across Kenya, within client’s budgets & timelines, and no call-backs due to complaints
• Collected, upcycled & sold 100+ art pieces from regularly discarded materials including, but not limited to, bottles, calabashes, egg-shells among others
• Created, developed & run 2 stints of art programs for kids aged between 4 and 16 reaching 10+ kids in each program
