I am a freelance communications professional with over twenty years of experience in the
English communication in particular. I specialise in researching, writing, editing, designing and supervising the publication of all types of communication materials: from project concepts, proposals and reports to brochures, flyers, newsletters, posters, books and manuals. I also copy write and proofread online content including tweets, Facebook posts, feature articles, blogs, scripts and storyboards for today’s versatile media platforms.

After assessing the scope of each proposed assignment, I am happy to discuss the terms of engagement, either as payment per piece or an hourly/daily rate. As a freelancer, I am flexible but particularly time- and deadline-conscious. I am also able to travel at short notice and to work in multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary environments.
Work Experience (Current) Content & Communication Associate (2018-Current) Development Frontiers (Deft) Limited. Deft is a collective of consultants in development specialising in four core areas: 1. development communication 2. non-profit organisations (NPOs) establishment, compliance, risk audit and management advisory and training 3. planning, monitoring, evaluation and learning and 4. SME business development and agricultural value chain management.
I am responsible for advising clients on research, writing copy, editing and proofreading for diverse inhouse and external communication outputs. These include formulating project proposals, communication strategies, creating and fine-tuning content for publishing and broadcast, managing delivery and feedback on legacy and online media. At Deft, we understand that the communication component is cross-cutting and therefore we constantly collect and curate content that expounds on the development process especially from the experiential perspective.
This affords me in-depth engagement in all the services on the Deft business portfolio and to explore potential in telling the underlying stories.
