Founded and directed by Nelson Franklin Were, a graduate of JOOUST, the company was born out of a very real, lived experience: months spent sending job applications into Nairobi's market and hearing nothing back, no feedback, no rejection, just silence. That frustration became the starting point for everything Cres Dynamics builds today, tools designed to fix problems the founder personally experienced, then developed into infrastructure the wider market can use.

Cres Dynamics offers a full range of software and systems services, including custom software development, enterprise software development, mobile app development, website development, web application development, ERP implementation and customization, database design, systems and API integration, IT and platform consulting, cloud consulting, cybersecurity consulting, UI/UX design, DevOps consulting, and technical support and maintenance. On the AI side, the company works on AI strategy consulting, machine learning integration, AI chatbot and virtual assistant development, predictive analytics, and AI-powered process automation, helping businesses figure out exactly where AI fits into their operations rather than adopting it for the sake of trend-chasing.

The company's flagship product, OptioHire, is a hiring and recruitment platform built to solve the exact hiring-process problem that inspired the founder's first company, giving employers a structured way to manage applicants and giving job seekers real visibility into where they stand. Cres Dynamics is a team of 18 software engineers based in Nairobi, Kenya, bringing together different areas of technical expertise under one company. This size and range give us the ability to take on projects of real scale, from custom software builds to full ERP systems to AI-integrated platforms, without depending on a single person or a narrow skill set to deliver.

Our team spans full-stack development, mobile app development, database and systems architecture, DevOps, AI and machine learning integration, UI/UX design, and cybersecurity, allowing us to handle a project end to end, from planning and architecture through to deployment and ongoing support. Having engineers across these different knowledge bases means we can scale a project up or down as needed, put the right specialist on the right part of the work, and keep quality consistent even as project complexity grows.

This structure is also what makes it possible for us to run our own internal systems, like CresOS, our business operating system, and products like OptioHire, while still delivering client work at the same time. We are built to handle serious, scalable technical work, not just small one-off builds.
