Daniel Kinyua

Graduating in 2019 with a Bachelor of Purchasing and Supplies Management degree, Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies Management-2014 and a Certificate in Purchasing and Supplies Management- 2012 from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, A registered member of Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) and 4+ years of Supply Chain Management Experience.

In the Past, I have worked for the Center for Mathematics, Science and Technology Education in Africa as a Supply Chain Officer whereby I managed to oversee the acquisition of quality supplies (goods, services and works) as per the Act for two and half years.

I have also worked as the Procurement Officer for Kenya National Library Service where I acquired excellent skills and expertise in coordinating procurement solicitations and sourcing procedures, negotiating contracts and procurement terms with suppliers, reviewing vendor payment requests, preparing procurement reports and supplier relationship management among other tasks as assigned to ensure successful procurement executions and achievement of corporate objectives.

My initial experience as a trainee at the Kenya Medical Supplies Agency combined with my expertise in optimizing purchasing success, along with my ability to building dynamic relationships with vendors and suppliers, knowledge in Public Procurement and Disposal Act 2015 and strong negotiation skills positions me to make a positive impact in your company.

With ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks and meet tight/competing deadlines in a highly fast –paced and deadline-driven environments, I look forward to discussing the position in further detail.

I Graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor of Purchasing and Supplies Management from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology with which I excelled attaining the Second Upper Division Score.

I am also a Diploma holder from the same Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology University whereby I graduated in 2014 attaining Credit Score

I also did Certificate of Purchasing and Supplies Management from the same Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and it is from this point that I started my career in 2012 and I also excelled in it attaining The Credit score.

My plan is to undertake the Masters Program later.
