I am a Risk and investigations Management Professional, specializing in Forensic Investigation, Threat and Risk Assessments, Personnel Screening, Environment Health and Safety practitioner. My work experiences span from the government as well as risk and security services sectors. I have gathered considerable experience in developing and implementing security polices, conducting investigations, formulating and executing risk matrix, monitoring and evaluating SOPs, gathering intelligence and security management.
I am currently engaged as Manager Security at Prime Bank. Seeking a position in a competitive firm where I can join a team and contribute to bringing value and develop my skill set further.
I am a well-trained and highly experienced security expert with vast and practical experience. I have an acute understanding of operating environment, geopolitics and the threat landscape. I understand the inherent and orchestrated industry risks, having been in Security industry for over 10 years.
At Prime Bank, Have managed to reduce fraud related cases through the help of motivated investigating team and use of new technology to curb the vise and reduced the vise by 6%.
At Aga Khan Development Network- IPS (K) I have been able to develop and implement specific risk mitigation plans which have proved very effective in facility protection, business continuity plans, Asset protection, supervision of in house and outsourced security guards and systems. The plans, which entail market intelligence operations, have been able to minimize cases of fraud and theft.
Other than the aforementioned, during my tenure at GlaxoSmithKline as Security Supervisor was on procurement and financial fraud, asset protection and HR support. I developed effective SOPs to guide financial handling and procurement practices. I conducted incisive investigations on errant staff to inform disciplinary action and insulate Management against litigation by the affected staff.
As a Regional Security Manager at Unilever Security Strategies will be based on a few key areas namely, Assets protection both moveable and non non-mevebale, staff security both senior (Senior midlevel and other members of the staffs, Unilever as a brand must be protected, Policies and procedures formulation and implementation, proactive investigations, acting as a liaison officer between Unilever and other regional security agencies and being focal point man during functions, team work with to monitoring guards and trainings of both staffs and guards is key , Risk identification and mitigations i.e fire, first aid at work.
