During the attachment period which lasted a total of 6 weeks, I was able to learn a few things from my time at the courts.

• Court procedure: gained understanding in filing of cases in court, how to actually file a case in court, cause lists and their importance in a court proceeding and in tracking case progress.
• Document drafting: had the chance to draft judgements on two civil cases and through that, learnt how judgements are actually written and also was able to realize the importance of the little details during the case proceeding.
• Legal Research and writing: with experience with drafting judgement, was able to put into practice legal research and writing skills, by using statutes, case laws, and precedents in research to help support arguments.
