Dorcas Muiruri

Daystar University, with practical experience gained through a legal practicum at Kimani Nyoike & Co. Advocates and a judicial attachment at the Thika Law Courts. I have also volunteered with ADIA Organisation, where I supported community-focused initiatives and gained valuable experience working in a nonprofit environment.

These experiences have strengthened my skills in legal research, drafting, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. I am passionate about serving communities, promoting justice, and contributing to meaningful social impact. I am a fast learner, adaptable, and committed to professionalism, integrity, and continuous learning.

• Thika Law Courts – Judicial Attaché (May–July 2025): Assisted with court registry operations, case file management, legal documentation, and court procedures, contributing to the efficient handling of court records and administrative processes.
• Kimani Nyoike & Co. Advocates – Legal Practicum Student (May–September 2024): Conducted legal research, drafted legal documents, organized client files, and supported advocates in case preparation, enhancing the firm's efficiency and strengthening my legal drafting and analytical skills.
• ADIA Organisation – Volunteer (2025–Present):** Supported community outreach and organizational programs, assisted with administrative and office tasks, collaborated with staff and volunteers on project implementation, and contributed to initiatives aimed at improving community well-being while developing strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.

I am awaiting graduation with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Daystar University. I have also completed a certificate in Intellectual Property from WIPO Academy, which enhanced my understanding of intellectual property rights. I completed my Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) and Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE), providing a strong academic foundation for my legal studies and professional development.
