January to April 2020 I did an attachment at the Nairobi City County Where I was able to take part in conducting a research on finding solutions to handle the problem of Solid waste management.I was also able to do Environmental Impact assessment and Environmental audit reviews.I was also able to gain great communication ,problem solving and critical thinking skills.
In July 2022,I was able to volunteer at Usikimye which is an organization working towards ending the prevalence in sexual and gender based violence.While at the organization I was able to be part of different programs including Peer teaching where I was able to interact with children from ages 4-13 .By interacting with these young ones I was able to grow as an individual by developing skills in communication,behavioral management and patience.
