A UK qualified commercial lawyer seeking to return to work in the energy, environmental law and/or sustainability sectors, having almost completed an online LLM in Energy & Environmental Law at Birmingham University and a short online Business & Climate Change: Towards Net Zero Emissions course at Cambridge University.

I have legal and commercial experience from my work as a Paralegal, Vocalis Legal & Commercial Manager and as part of the RAC legal teams. During my early career I gained team, project management and leadership skills in my role at Mazars.

During a career break, I established businesses in the UK and Africa and always stayed busy, undertaking wide-ranging voluntary work to help and support local communities and running large events. I am also now a member and contributor to several climate and environmental networking groups in Kenya and the UK.

I have excellent communication and influencing skills and enjoy driving positive action, either in a leadership role or as part of a larger team. Research, organisation and attention to detail are inherent legal skills and I have remained current in my interest areas. I also speak fluent French.

I am a British citizen and I have a permit to reside and work in Kenya (so could work in either country). I am also available to travel.

I have commercial law and intellectual property experience. I have also negotiated, drafted and executed commercial contracts.

I have a law degree and I have almost completed a Masters in Law (LLM) in energy and environmental law. I also have a French degree.
