I am a Software engineer who enjoys building practical digital products that solve real operational problems and make everyday work simpler.
My journey has grown from developing user interfaces to designing and delivering complete business solutions, including enterprise dashboards, payment and billing workflows, revenue and licensing systems, transport and logistics platforms, reporting tools, API integration layers, content management systems, and mobile-accessible services.
I enjoy understanding how an organization works, identifying where processes are manual, disconnected, slow, or difficult to manage, and turning those challenges into structured digital workflows. My work has involved automating payment-to-service processes, simplifying data-heavy administrative tasks, connecting applications with complex backend services, supporting multiple user roles, and improving operational visibility through reporting and analytics.
I combine product development with backend engineering, API design, system integration, workflow automation, testing, deployment, and production support. I care about building software that is useful, secure, reliable, maintainable, and easy to use, not only when it is launched, but as the organization and its needs continue to grow. What motivates me most is creating products that reduce manual work, connect people and systems, improve service delivery, and help teams make better decisions.

Built and supported production-ready CRM-style platforms, dashboards, APIs, and workflow automation systems for business licensing, transport operations, payments, parcel management, reporting, and telecom services.
- Built PAVRISK, a business licensing and revenue management platform for managing licenses, invoices, payments, agents, receipts, and compliance workflows.
- Developed role-based dashboards for admins, agents, businesses, clerks, and managers.
- Engineered payment-linked licensing workflows with automated document generation, SMS notifications, and reconciliation support.
- Built E-nauli CRM, a transport management system for SACCO operations, parcel dispatch, billing, deductions, subscription billing, and multi-station reporting.
- Designed interactive dashboards with filtering, pagination, export tools, charts, and real-time operational insights.
- Built Backend-for-Frontend API layers using Node.js and Express to simplify frontend integration with complex backend services.
- Implemented API security, JWT authentication, input sanitization, error handling, logging, caching, and monitoring.
- Built and supported USSD Skiza platform features, including menu flows, session persistence, retry logic, external API integrations, and SMS user flows.
- Worked with React, Next.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, MySQL, Redis, Tailwind CSS, Docker, Nginx, Vercel, Heroku, PM2, Playwright, and Vitest.
