I have completed my studies for a degree in Financial Engineering at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and attained a First Class Honours. My greatest strengths are my research, communication and writing skills. I am a hardworking and ambitious individual with a great passion for finance, banking and investments.
I have also attained knowledge in stock trading by participating in the University Stock Market Challenge organized by the NSE in partnership with the AIB AXYS. I have attained a great level of professionalism and leadership skills by working with Equity Bank under the Equity Leadership Program.
I have completed a research paper on “Comparison between buy-and-hold and stop-loss trading strategies in the NSE 25 Share Index at the Nairobi Stock Exchange”. The paper was geared towards enhancing investors choice of trading strategy as they try to maximize their returns. In addition, I have developed my leadership skills by being a vice chairperson to MUBET(a sub-group of JKUAT Christian Union) for two consecutive years.
As a vice chairperson, I was able to organise and chair meetings as agreed with the chairperson, organise and coordinate events, follow-up on team members. I was also in charge of counselling in the team. This has been a success bearing in mind my basic leadership skills were established in high school where I served as an assistant school captain and later served as the school captain.
