I am a dedicated and self-motivated Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineer, with a proven track record of working collaboratively with team members to achieve goals. My experience in construction, oil and energy industry, and plant production, along with my extensive knowledge of engineering principles, theories, specifications, and standards, make me a valuable asset to any organization.
I have experience in engineering fields , with a focus on oil & gas, renewable energy, boilers & heaters, piping and computer aided design. I possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and i'm able to oversee the manufacturing and installation process of machines, ensuring projects are completed successfully.
Recently, I served as Project Co-ordinator, where I co-ordinated and oversaw the development of Solar energy projects, and the erection and commissioning of boilers, hot water generators, and thermal fluid heaters. I was responsible for monitoring project performance, ensuring projects were completed according to schedule and within budget, communicating with various departments and clients, and representing the company in site meetings.
I am also experienced as an Assistant Project Engineer and Piping Supervisor, having supervised piping at a breweries, as well as overseeing the assembly of bottle fillers, tunnel pasteurizer, and other brewing equipment. I have strong supervisory skills and experience in interpreting P&ID and isometric drawings, planning and scheduling work processes, and ensuring safety procedures are followed.
I hold a degree in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Nairobi and i'm registered by the Engineers board of Kenya as a Graduate Mechanical Engineer.
