Erick Mugo

I have just graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Applied Communication majoring in corporate communication at Multimedia University of Kenya.

My degree has prepared me for various fields in the Public Relations world that I can be a part of. I have written research proposals and been highly involved in event planning and execution during my time at Multimedia University. Recently, I was involved in the making and execution of “Content meets Creation” event that was held at Multimedia University on July 20, 2022. I have just concluded my attachment at the Office of the Controller of Budget in the Public Relations and Communication department where I was situated at the reception where I received guests, took their information for the registration book and assisted them to my best of knowledge. I have been highly involved in the making of the recent office newsletter, where I have written stories and taken photos for the newsletter. I have also been involved at customer service and telephone operations at the office.

My attributes include being ambitious, fast-learning, having high interpersonal skills and communication skills, and having the ability to adapt to a new culture. I am good at time management and am always ready to do what is required to ensure the success of the organization. I will do what will be expected of me to meet this and grow my experience further.
