Currently I am working at the Ethiopian Electric Power under the department of Protection as a Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) Communication Engineer and OPGW Technician support.
In my previous position my work mainly focused on substation inspection, supervision, Maintenance and protection in new and rehabilitation projects of transmission lines, substations, and grid systems.
I have worked as an electrical engineer for the past Ten years. I have a very good experience in implementing various Electrical Components in to devices that use Electricity, Understanding Professional Drawings and blueprints. I also excel in conducting Regular safety test and inspections, maintaining various tools and Equipments.
I have also been engaged in different volunteer works. As a member of Rotract family I have been doing a lot of volunteering work at Rotract club as an active member for the past seven years and served in different positions as a director, fundraiser, professional development director and community service team leader. In addition, I have also worked at the world diabetics association and Ethiopian Great Run as a volunteer.
I graduated from Bahir Dar University with a B.Sc. Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I also took different professional trainings related to my work.
