A self motivated Media personality

Previously, I have had the privilege to work as a communication officer under the Director Governor's Press Service in Makueni county where I headed the communication team in the office of the deputy governor. I heavily provided leadership to a team of three (3) and who provided a day to day media coverage to the Deputy Governor and departmental heads of the county government.

As part of my duties, I have assisted in implementation of effective communication strategies to a desired public, created web content with text, video and documentaries spurring desired talk within and outside the county, scheduled routine interviews for the Governor and other county government officials, developed and maintained newsroom contacts enhancing a good rap-pour between the county and the larger media fraternity amongst a myriad of other duties. This knowledge and experience will enable me to provide a more robust leadership.

In the county government of Makueni, I have a proven record on overseeing the conceptualization, implementation, and execution of ambitious communication plans, combined with my ability to motivate teams and foster enduring relationships, I am well positioned to immensely benefit your company.

I am a finalist of bachelor in mass media and communication with a bias in public relations from Mount Kenya University. I am also a practicing communication strategist with proven experience in multidisciplinary areas of communication such as broadcast communication, print communication, online journalism, advertising, media monitoring and dissemination of information through various multiple media engines. I hold a diploma in Mass communication from East African School of Media studies as well.
