I am an Nursing lecturer at Pwani university. I also have clinical experience of over 12 years at Kenyatta National Hospital . This blend of experience helps me in proper training of nursing students. My passion is to train and mentor future nurses who will be able to provide quality nursing services to clients across the globe.
I have a bachelor of science in nursing with a masters degree in obstetric nursing and midwifery . I also have a post graduate diploma in health professions education from Maastricht university.
I believe in discipline, hard work, quality and consistency. I a self driven individual who is able to work with minimum supervision. Part of my work entails testing learners in various skills and abilities i.e. knowledge, comprehension, analysis synthesis, application and evaluation. I also carry out clinical teaching and assessment for the learners in various hospitals. I appreciate different types of learners and how to meet their learning needs.
If given this opportunity I will strive to do my best as teaching is my passion.
