As a devoted procurement professional with a bachelor’s degree in purchasing and supply chain management from Taita Taveta University, I have acquired strong knowledge and skills from my 5 years of experience working in the stores and procurement department. I have contributed to zero delays by following up with suppliers for timely delivery of material/items or service, zero stockouts by frequently checking the re-order level, and conducting a regular stock take. I also manage to introduce department standard operating procedures which help in streamlining roles with clear responsibilities and goals hence reducing time and operation cost
