My name is Fredrick Emaide, and my educational journey has been one of growth, resilience, and a deepening passion for technology and service. I began my studies at Ongaroi Primary School, where I developed a strong foundation in academics, discipline, and leadership. After successfully completing my KCPE, I joined St. Peter’s Aterait Secondary School.
During my time in secondary school, I embraced every opportunity to learn and contribute. I had a particular interest in computer studies, languages, and sciences — subjects that strengthened my analytical thinking and communication skills. I worked hard and was proud to complete my secondary education with a mean grade of B-, a reflection of my dedication and ability to balance various subjects effectively.
After high school, I enrolled in a computer packages course, where I gained hands-on experience in essential software tools such as Microsoft Office, internet use, printing solutions, and general computer maintenance. This knowledge proved useful when I secured a job at a local cybercafé, where I worked for a year. The role helped me sharpen my technical and customer service skills, including handling digital documents, assisting clients with KRA and government portal services, and managing printing, scanning, and emailing tasks.
This experience, combined with my education, has prepared me to be a reliable, tech-savvy, and goal-driven young professional. I am now looking to continue growing, either through further learning or in a workplace where I can contribute positively, especially in a role that allows me to motivate and assist others using my skills.
