Experienced Information and Communication Technology support with a demonstrated history of working in the IT and ISP industry. skilled in database management, system and network administration, software development, research, customer service, project management, procurement and purchasing.
● Designing and maintaining database architecture, data structures, tables, dictionaries and naming conventions to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all data master files. ● Setting up wireless systems and networks around company premises. ● Implementing and administering database documentation, guidelines, policies and procedures. ● Performing the operational establishment and preventive maintenance of backups, recovery procedures, and enforcing security and integrity controls. ● Testing database systems and upgrades, such as debugging, tracking, reproduction, logging and resolving all identified problems, according to approved quality testing scripts, procedures and processes. ● Computer and peripherals maintenance and repairs. ● Support LANs, WANs, network segments, internet and intranet systems. ● Maintain system efficiency and configuration of network IP addresses – design a system that allows all components to work properly together. ● Troubleshoot problems reported by users in relation to computer hardware, software, cabling, telephone equipment and printers’ network. ● Offer technical support to staff on computer programs, packages, and applications. ● Participate in server and security audits, and system backups and recovery. ● Ensure that all company desktops, laptops, and servers have up to date software and antivirus protection. ● Responsible for day-to-day inventory keeping of IT assets (e.g., printers, laptops, desktops, tablets, phones etc.) and for triggering purchase requisitions. ● Participate in the planning for the expansion of network and communication equipment and new network cabling structures. ● Recommend to line manager ideas for upgrades, hardware and software deployment, disposal, for optimization of resources and to reduce systems costs. ● CCTV surveillance. ● Software development and integration with established company systems.
