I conduct training and develop training manuals for NGOs and INGOs.
I’m a learning experience designer with over ten years under my belt, building and running training programs for adults and young people, mostly for underserved communities in East Africa. I combine human-centered design with a healthy dose of behavioral science, always aiming to make learning practical and genuinely engaging. I handle everything in curriculum development, from figuring out what people really need to learn to writing up facilitator manuals, training guides, and all the learning materials that go with them.
I’ve built content on all kinds of topics - sexual and reproductive health, trauma healing, entrepreneurship, life skills, and child rights. My work covers the full spectrum. I spend a lot of time training the trainers, helping partner staff, teachers, and community leaders build up their skills so they can run programs themselves.
Sometimes that’s in a classroom, sometimes it’s with tech.
Africa, for example, I taught ecosystem actors how to use a mobile platform for SRH services. I’ve held key roles with some big international NGOs. At VSO International Kenya, I supported the Dutch government’s Challenge Fund for Youth Employment.
I’ve also worked as a consultant, developing training manuals for Ace Africa in Tanzania and a psychosocial support manual for Mercy Corps in Kenya. Earlier on, I started the GEDIA Project in Kakuma Refugee Camp to teach entrepreneurship, and I worked as a Reflection-Action Inspirator for ActionAid in Uganda, coaching youth and women’s groups in entrepreneurship. For school, I’ve got a BBA from the UK, and I’m working on a postgrad diploma in counseling psychology, which fits right in with my hands-on experience in trauma healing and psychosocial support.
