My name is George Mwangi Gikonyo a young ardent procurement Specialist specializing in demand and supply management and development.

I offer a comprehensive 360° view across the supply chain, making every step of the procurement process more efficient and effective.I have demonstrated and continue to offer outstanding capability in ensuring the 5 R's of procurement are achieved. This is done through ethical buying vis a vis promoting transparency,ensuring process adherence/consistency, technological use and cost management implementation.My aim is to unlock and enable an organization's value that extends far beyond the normal scope of traditional procurement operations.Ultimately, I seek to meet an organization's strategic objectives by matching them with the industry's best practices, innovative solutions and global trends all in the aim to source and supply all needs as per quality and quantity required.

Currently am a Category lead at Copia Global where I had joined as an Intern, I have previously worked as a Procurement Intern at Advatech Office supplies and also at the Kenya Revenue Authority. I have also worked as a Sales representative at Rift Gas Company Limited.

As a graduate from Jomo Kenyatta University school of Agriculture and Technology with a degree in Procurement and Contract management, I did two Certificates, one in SPSS(Statistical Packages for Social Science) and another in Computer packages. I furthered my education in doing a diploma in Procurement and Supplies and later Joined The Kenya School of Revenue Authority to pursue a Higher Certificate in East African Customs Freight Forwarding and practicing Certificate.
