I am Gibert Kibet Ngetich a holder of Bachelors Degree in Laws from Kisii University school of law and currently a student at The Kenya School of Law am writing to apply for the Position of pupil trainee(Pupillage) in your highly reputable law firm.My desire to work in your firm has always been motivated by your firm’s profile and standards.Also,I am highly interested in getting a chance of working with you because of the global networking that your Law Firm has and the favourable working environment that your law firms are highly known for.

Apart from my university degree also hold 3 different certificates from various fields.First,is the certificate in Mediation from Karl Mediation and Arbitration Centre.Second is the certificate in Accounting from The Cooperative University. Third, is the certificate in Computer studies from Kabianga Computer institute.

I am a community-oriented aggressive young man who believes in the community of the Kenyan people especially the youth. I am an open-minded, task-oriented, a very good listener and good in accommodating other people’s opinions. I am also good in defending what I truly believe in without unnecessarily being a bully. I also have a good eye for detail.

I have previously worked as a volunteer in a law firm and it is with great hope that the skills which I acquired there will come in handy with your institutions goals if given a chance to be part of your team. I am well conversant with matters of Commercial transactions ,Banking, Dispute Resolution, Land laws, conveyancing, Real Estate matters ,Tax ,Employment Matters ,International trade and civil litigation.

On top of my vast knowledge in law, I am a well skilled Information Technology {IT] guru. I have also undergone a leadership training programmes while at the university and I am confident that the skills I have acquired will come in hand in executing both legal work and other extra activities that your institution might be engaging in.

• Giving legal opinions to children at the Bostal institution and advising them to improve on their behavior.

 7TH JULY 2020- 15TH NOVEMBER 2020, Attachment at Siro and company advocates. Here, I acquired all the skills that entails to the operation of a law firm including;

• Drawing of pleadings such as Plaints and originating Summons,
• Drafting of Submissions for cases,
• Drafting legal opinions,
•  conducting research for cases,
• Offering legal opinions to Clients with the permission of the advocate.
• Going to court to file cases.
