- Ensure members data which is almost 1000 is properly updated in terms of subscriptions or any levies or other payments as approved by the committee.
2010 Sept - September 2015 : Club Manager Thika Sports Club - Duties include General overseeing the proper daily running of the club that includes

2008 Jan - Dec 2008 : IT/Accounts Manager - Branded fine foods
In-charge of the IT and the accounts department main duties include:
Accounts - Preparation and checks on Month end reports promptly on sales receipts, inter-stores and stocks controls. I also supervised the End of year budgets, regular item price changes, fixed asset register as well as the daily sales, petty cash and bankings. I ensured the monthly client statements were done on deadlines as well as accurate.
I also supervised the Stock controls, credit control dept on debt collections as well transfers from Mombasa to Nairobi branches among other duties in the department.
IT – Organise general staff training on the systems and supervised general maintenance of the company systems by having schedules of preventive maintenance. Ensure daily and monthly backups are done appropriately as well as ensure proper antivirus programs are installed and function properly. Close checks on the internet connectivity as well as the user support on the staff.

1997 - 2004 : Asst IT Admin - The Tamarind Group Duties include:
- Network Administration in Nairobi and Mombasa. We had over 40 PCs in these units and I was responsible for the maintenance as well as trouble shooting.
- Training - I organized staff training for senior and junior staff in the company on basic and general use of the computer systems. This included Ms Office, CorelDraw, Fox Pro as well as the Micros and Fidelio systems for the restaurant staff.
- Data Security - I was responsible for the company’s data backups i.e weekly and monthly for our servers as well as the desktops. I made sure they were done consistently and stored safely at the site and copies out of site.
- Recommendations - I did recommendations and worked hand in hand with the IT Director concerning various issues i.e. purchases and upgrades on our systems.
- User Support - I assisted on individual basis our staff in their daily use of the systems as well as make sure they utilize the programs installed depending on their departments.
- Preventive Maintenance – It was my duty that we had a schedule on all our systems for preventive maintenance and that it was properly done.
