With a Diploma in Counseling Psychology and a certificate in HIV/AIDS Counseling and Management, I am eager to contribute my skills and passion to assist individuals in need.

My education and certification have equipped me with the knowledge and techniques required to counsel and support those facing HIV/AIDS-related challenges. I am proficient in individual counseling, adherence plan development, and providing emotional support. I am also well-versed in working with diverse populations, emphasizing inclusivity and cultural sensitivity.

DUTIES 

• Counselling and testing of clients. 
• Directing clients to CCC. 

2009 – 2011: MAJI MAZURI CENTER 

POSITION : HIV /AIDS COUNSELLOR AND MANAGER

DUTIES 

• Coordinating all aspects of the HIV CTR program. 
• Direct supervision of several staff members, interns and volunteers. 
• Conducting a client risk assessment. 
• Make appropriate referral for both high-risk and negative clients HIV-Positive clients. 
• Disclose HICV results (Both negative and positive) and conduct disclosure counselling per CDPH/OA protocols/training. 
• If client tests HIV-positive, provide referral to medical care (for clients who do not have private medical insurance) and other referrals as appropriate. 
• Follow site protocol to verify medical care visits or linkage to care for clients who test positive
