I am a Swedish national bringing 20 years of business experience in financing and developing small and medium sized entrepreneurial companies.
My in-depth industry experience is primarily in finance and the IT/telecom sector but I also have knowledge skills in renewable energy projects (solar and wind) and water purification.
Having lived in South Africa for ten years, I moved to Nairobi earlier this year for family reasons. I am now looking for interesting opportunities in Kenya where I can leverage my financial/investment expertise to support next generation African entrepreneurs to grow their business locally and internationally.
I have a work permit in Kenya as well as Diplomatic status.
My professional experience includes venture capital investments (6:e AP Fonden, Newury Ventures and Airotom Investment), debt funding (S|E|B), fund raising and financial management (United Water AG and Netcom Consultant), sales and international marketing (SEW Eurodrive, Swedish Trade Council and Vnext Fiber).
In 2014, I headed VX Fibre’s establishment in South Africa and was responsible for developing the strategic and operational partnership with Vumatel. Together, we built the largest open access FTTH operator in Africa.
In 2019, I co-founded Celerity Holdings, a niche FTTH operator focusing on greenfield deployments working together with two large Chinese property developers.
