My extensive finance and Programme experience has been well developed over the past 9 years in both academic and practicing field. As an accomplished financial professional with solid background in both GAAP and managerial accounting as well as an experience Grants accounting, I believe I offer expertise that would be of benefit to your organization. KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

 Accounting Regulations and standards: Highly conversant with local and international accounting standards (IAS, IPSAS, IFRS); aware of local tax legislation and policies impacting the Kenyan market, for example changes in the VAT act and income tax.

 Financial reports: Skilled in the Preparation of Statement of Financial Position, Income Statement, also known as the Profit and Loss Statement and Cash Flow Statement

 Audit Requirements: Experienced in ensuring that the company books are ready for audit within the set deadlines while providing the necessary information for internal and external audits and conducting financial investigations, as necessary.

 Accounting Budget: Experienced in providing data required for budgetary planning, assisting senior management in the preparation of the budget and budget management.

 Donor funding and Grants Management: Experience dealing with EU, DFID and USAID funding and managing grants given has seen me; maintain donor funding, prepare grant budgets and ensure proper and accurate accounting of all grant and donor funds.

 Organization Skills: Ability to prioritize and effectively manage my work, demonstrate strong organizational, problem-solving, multi-tasking and analytical skills. I am also a quick learner able to work with minimal supervision.

 Tax and statutory: Well versed in various taxes (VAT, income tax and withholding) with knowledge in the preparation of statutory payments i.e. PAYE, NSSF, NHIF and payroll.
