Hillary Ochieng

I am a result driven communications and PR professional with over two years of experience in lead generation, creative writing, public speaking, graphic design, audio and video editing, photography, content creation and news dissemination in both print, broadcast and digital media channels. I am capable of researching, conducting and evaluating on a continuing basis, program of actions and communication to help various organizations achieve their goals and I would like to work in a healthy environment that appreciates my skills and offers avenues for growth.

I have worked at the County Assembly of Kisumu as a communications and PR trainee where I engaged the public in helping them understand how the assembly works and highlighting to them the importance of public participation in regards to the functionality of the assembly. I also designed the institution's brochures, posters and business cards and led in camera operations during assembly sitting sessions.

I have also attained various bylines in the local dailies where my articles of diversified topics have been featured. i.e. The standard Newspaper & The Nairobian newspaper

I have attained my bachelors degree in Journalism and mass communication, having graduated in July 2023 (Second class Honors - Upper division) at the Technical University Of Mombasa.
