- Provide technical leadership in the design, planning, implementation, monitoring and adaptive management of market systems and livelihood interventions across the Rwenzori, Kigezi and Elgon regions, ensuring quality programming and sustainable impact
- Broker strategic partnerships with private sector actors, including input suppliers, produce off-takers, financial institutions, and local governments, leveraging co-investment models to strengthen market systems, improve rural infrastructure, and expand economic opportunities for vulnerable households
- Strengthened over 100 farmer organizations, including 140 Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs), 176 women- and youth-led enterprises, 6 producer cooperatives, and 3 SACCOs, improving governance, business performance, financial inclusion, market participation, and resilience for more than 50,000 farming households
- Provide technical oversight, mentrship, and guidance support to field teams and implementing partners to ensure quality and timely delivery of programme intrvntions
- Support programme monitoring, evaluation, learning, and adaptive management through results tracking, evidence generation, documentation of lessons learned and best practices, and utilization of stakeholder feedback to inform decision-making and continuous programme improvement
- Represent Agriterra in consortium meetings, technical working groups, district platforms, and stakeholder forums, promoting collaboration, knowledge sharing, policy dialogue and adaptive management

- Led a team of 6 field staff to deliver agribusiness and livelihood interventions for over 1,026 refugee and host community women and youth entrepreneurs, strengthening enterprise performance, income generation, and economic resilience across maize, beans, soybeans, and poultry value chains
- Designed and delivered technical and business skills training for 35 women- and youth-led enterprise groups and 25 VSLAs on climate-smart agriculture, VSLA methodology, governance, business planning, record keeping, and financial literacy, enhancing enterprise performance, financial inclusion, and self-reliance among refugee and host communities
- Strengthened local market systems by brokering strategic partnerships with key market actors ncluding input suppliers (NASECO and Pearl Seeds), produce off-takers (Aponye and WFP), and financial institutions (PostBank, Stanbic Bank, and Equity Bank), improving access to quality inputs, structured markets, financial services, and business opportunities for over 500 refugee and host community farmers
- Participated in advocacy and policy dialogues with duty bearers to promote refugee inclusion in government programmes such as the Parish Development Model (PDM), advance refugee and child rights, and influence the development of bylaws and ordinances that addressed barriers to market participation, economic inclusion, and sustainable livelihood opportunities for refugee and host communities
- Supported project Monitoring and Evaluation activities, including livelihood and market assessments, documentation of impact stories and lessons learned, and results-based reporting, generating insights that informed programme design, livelihood strategies, decision-making, and adaptive management
- Established and maintained effective partnerships with consortium partners (Refugee Law Project, TPO Uganda, and Co-ACT), UN agencies, NARO, the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM), Kyegegwa District Local Government, and other stakeholders strengthening coordination, knowledge sharing, and quality programme delivery

- Designed and delivered targeted capacity-building trainings to four cooperative unions (Sebei Elgon Cooperative Union, East Acholi Cooperative Union, Bukusu Area Cooperative Enterprise, and Kagumu Area Cooperative Enterprise) and over 30 primary cooperative societies, strengthening governance, financial management, enterprise performance, and member service delivery
- Facilitated the development and operationalization of strategic and business plans, annual operating plans, budgets, and governance systems, including finance, human resource, governance, markeing policies and procedures to strengthening accountability, transparency, internal controls, operational efficiency, and long-term sustainability
- Facilitated strategic partnerships between cooperatives, produce buyers, input suppliers, equipment vendors, and financial institutions, improving access to structured markets, quality inputs, financial services, and income opportunities for cooperative members
- Successfully mobilized USD 230,000 from the US African Development Foundation (USADF) for Sebei Elgon Cooperative Union, supporting business expansion, value addition, and improved market opportunities for smallholder farmers
- Supported cooperative-led advocacy initiatives using the FACT methodology by facilitating evidence generation, drafting position papers, organizing district advocacy dialogues, and engaging in national policy platforms to systemic address challenges affecting farmers and cooperatives, including counterfeit agricultural inputs, poor roads, and high taxes
- Supported monitoring, evaluation, and performance tracking of participating cooperatives through regular business assessments and analysis of key performance indicators, generating evidence to inform decision-making, strengthen accountability, and improve programme effectiveness and cooperative business performance

- Delivered field level trainings to 35 rural producer organizations on Farming as a Business, Good Agronomic Practices (GAPs), Climate Smart Agriculture, Post-Harvest Handling, Agriculture Finance, business development and marketing, among others
- Linked the target Farmer Organization (Kito Farmers' Cooperative) to sustainable markets by promoting bulking and collective marketing of quality produce at the satellite collection points, and networking through commodity platforms
- Facilitated market systems strengthening by linking producer organizations to buyers, financial institutions, and input suppliers, improving access to structured markets, agricultural finance, and productivity-enhancing technologies
- Brokered purchase agreements with key grain buyers (WFP, Aponye, NAPIL), input suppliers (Pearl Seeds, Grain pulse, FINCA), and banks (Centenary, Post bank), enhancing farmers' access to better markets and low-cost financial services
- Supported the establishment and management of 33 field demonstrations for maize and beans, which served as learning and seed multiplication platforms for farmers
- Established and supported 33 demonstration sites that served as learning platforms for promoting improved technologies, climate-resilient agricultural practices, and farmer-to-farmer knowledge transfer
- Organized field days, value chain workshops and exposure visits which enabled farmers to network, share knowledge and experiences on agribusiness on issues
- Contributed to programme monitoring, learning, and adaptive management through performance reviews, documentation of best practices, lessons learned, and evidence-based recommendations
