Industrial attachment report undertaken at Nairobi County Government office of Governor from November 3 to January 30 in fulfillment of Human Resource Management level 5 with Information Technology requirements at Spring International Training College. The attachment provided real-life experience and exposure in human resource management, including practical experiences in recruitment, payroll administration, employee welfare, and employee relations within a county government structure.

Industrial Attachment - Human Resource Management at County Government of Nairobi (2025-11-03 – 2026-01-30)

Industrial attachment at Nairobi County Government office of Governor. Exposed to day-to-day activities in the human resource department across multiple sections including recruitment, payroll administration, and employee welfare.

• Participated in recruitment and selection process advising and assisting with officer recruitment, selection, induction and placement
• Gained experience in payroll administration and benefits management using IPPD (Integrated Personnel Payroll Data System)
• Learned about employee welfare coordination including medical cover, insurance covers, and loan facilitation
• Understood statutory deductions including PAYE, NHIF and mandatory pension contributions
• Participated in training and development procedures and employee relations coordination
