He worked with various institutions, including Defense Technical College (DEFTEC) in Embakasi, Kenya Airforce Eastleigh and the United Nations. He received the "Linda nchi mental" award from the then commanding officer of Kenya Air force Admin wing (KAW) Moi air base Eastleigh Kenya, as well as several other awards and recognitions.
He was awarded several United Nations competency certificates after completing ICTS and various human protection operations trainings.
