Duties

• Operate the school bus in a safe and efficient way according to all the legislation, policies and procedures.
• Pick up and drop students off as per a set schedule.
• Take attendance register on the school bus.
• Ensure students are aware and adhere to rules and responsibilities for their safety.
• Maintain order and discipline on the School bus.
• Make note of any behavioural or disciplinary problems
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
• Perform minor maintenance duties.
• Clean the bus as scheduled and/or required.
• Advise the coordinator of any requirements for maintenance or repairs.
