Procurement Officer.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensuring timely procurement in a cost effective way for the smoothing running of the Sacco programs.
• Ensuring that all procurement activities are fully and transparently documented.
• Developing and maintaining a data base of good and reliable suppliers of different categories of goods and services.
• Formulation of procedures and systems for issuing in the stores to user departments.
• Implementation of supplies policies as per the procurement Act and regulations
• Assisting the line managers in all areas of supplies management
• Establishing and maintaining standard contracts and bidding documents Suitable for the Sacco.
• Maintaining a price List of routinely procured supplies and services.
• preparation and maintainace of efficient systems for processing departmental purchase requisition and purchase orders

Bachelor of Business Management-Purchasing & Supplies Option

Diploma in purchasing and supplies Management.
