A seasoned Counseling Psychologist with extensive hands on experience in Psychosocial counseling having worked with organizations, individuals, media houses and private practice in counseling, psycho education, trainings, mentorship, campaign awareness and I have a deep understanding of Mental Health and mental health issues that the world is slowly waking up to, which has impacted the society in a big way.

My training experience has over the years evolved from direct implementation to consultancy and offering trainings with humanitarian agencies and back to implementation based on client needs and scope of work. My media houses expertise has been in awareness creation, psychoeducation talks and counseling in different thematic areas ranging from family matters and especially those that have an impact on children, teenage issues, school struggles with students and Mental Health among others. With NGOs, I have hands on training with Refugee serving Organizations in Dadaab, (RET International) Urban Based Programs, (JRS) and Djbouti based (LWF-Kenya Djbouti Program) , Global communities, and most recently with RefuSHE Kenya where I was key I delivering trainings to the host and refugee populations in matters pertaining child protection, SGBV, Community capacity building, TOT and Mentorship approach to programming, Trauma informed approach to planning, implementation and programing..

I have a BA in Counseling Psychology and currently pursuing a MA Degree in Counseling Psychology. I am a certified Mental Health specialist and poses a certificate of TOT in MHPSS, I am a certified Parental Facilitator, I have a cert in Advanced Certificate in Counseling Supervision, I also posses certificates of completion in Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse from UNHCR and Unicef, Course on TIVET/CBET Curriculum Training.
