I am licensed Supply Chain Management Practitioner by the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management, (KISM), Member Number 68161, License Number K1426/2019 and I am also a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply, (CIPS - UK),
Managerial / Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Ensure collation of Department’s budget proposals from members and timely preparation of the annual Division’s budget and/or revision of the same.
- Ensure timely issuance of instructions forwarding the requisite documents to Legal Services department for drafting of contract.
- Coordinate contract negotiations between the Authority and external parties.
- Coordinate contract signing between parties to the Authority’s procurement contracts
- Participate in the Authority’s Contract Implementation Teams as appointed and as a supply Chain Management expert.
- Participate in the Authority’s Universal Service Fund projects implementation
Operational Responsibilities / Tasks:- c
- Facilitate in raising and issuance of Purchase Orders and follow up with order progression
- Development of procurement contracts in line with the Director General’s approval, Tender Document, bid document and any other relevant information.
- Coordinate the review of Procurement draft contracts by Legal Services department, the User departments and for suppliers (external parties).
- Coordinate Execution of Procurement Contracts (triplicate), forward the original contract to the supplier/ Consultant/Contractor/Service Provider, Legal Services Department and circulate copy of the signed contract to user department for implementation and Finance & Accounts for payment referencing
- Create and maintain CA’s contracts database
- Collate and consolidate monthly Project Progress reports for onward transmission to the Director General for information as required.
- Secretary to the Tender evaluation committees as and when appointed by the Accounting Officer.
- Prepare and monitor the Department’s budgets and
- Prepare a consolidated Corporate Annual Procurement Plan for the Authority
- Consolidate the Universal Service Fund procurement plans and submit for Approval
- Timely upload of Authority’s contracts of over Kshs 500,000 and above in the Public Procurement Information Portal (PPIP) and Website on a quarterly basis

- Participate in Authority’s committees as and when requested
